OLD MASTERS COLLECTION
‘Delft Blue Tiles with Birds’ Pattern
Size: L21,5cm x W13cm x H2,5cm
Chain: 120cm long detachable
Product Details:
This elegant small chain bag features exclusive prints from the original delft blue porcelain painted on a faience plate by Frederik van Frytom c. 1670 – c. 1700 in Delft.
The pattern is based on artworks depicting landscapes in blue from the Collection of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. This pattern was inspired by the Dutch Golden Age, especially the beautiful ultramarine colours of the Delft Blue porcelain, and the exquisite landscapes that show trees, villages, church towers, rivers and sailing boats with great accuracy. This piece of bag is a true example of great passion for art.
Both sides are printed with a non-fading technique and the design is customized to follow the shape of the bag. The ’agnestoth’ enamel branding hand painted in light blue adds to the finished look. The little bag can carry enough for a night out, or a light afternoon walk. This is a precious piece, designed in Budapest, handcrafted locally with great attention to details. It will certainly bring joy in everyday use and on special occasions.
